Editorial Policy

The Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and editorial integrity. Our editorial policy is designed to ensure the quality, fairness, transparency, and timely dissemination of scientific research.

Peer Review Process

All submissions to the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. This means both the authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed from each other to ensure unbiased evaluation. Manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team for suitability and adherence to the journal's scope and guidelines. If deemed suitable, they are then sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. The editorial decision is based on the reviewers' recommendations, with the Editor-in-Chief retaining final authority.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author must ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to screen submitted manuscripts.

Data Access and Retention

Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data, if practicable, and should in any event be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors should disclose any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed. Reviewers are also required to declare any potential conflicts of interest.

Publication Ethics

The Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences adheres to the guidelines and best practices provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any cases of suspected misconduct, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or authorship disputes, will be investigated thoroughly by the editorial board. The journal reserves the right to retract published articles found to contain serious ethical violations.
