Self-Archiving Policy

The Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences strongly supports authors' rights to self-archive their research. We believe that making research openly accessible through various platforms maximizes its visibility, impact, and global reach. Our self-archiving policy aligns with the principles of open science and ensures authors retain significant control over their work.

Authors of articles published in the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences are permitted to self-archive the following versions of their manuscript:

  1. Pre-print version: This is the original manuscript submitted by the author before any peer review. Authors may deposit their pre-print version at any time on their personal website, institutional repository, or a recognized pre-print server (e.g., arXiv, Research Square, SSRN). When self-archiving a pre-print, we encourage authors to include a statement indicating that the manuscript has been submitted to the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences.

  2. Post-print version (Accepted Manuscript): This is the version of the manuscript that has been accepted for publication by the journal, including all changes made as a result of the peer-review process, but before copy-editing, typesetting, and formatting by the publisher. Authors may deposit their post-print version immediately upon acceptance on their personal website, institutional repository, or a recognized subject-specific repository. Authors should include an acknowledgment of the final publication in the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences, along with the article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier) if available.

  3. Publisher's PDF version (Version of Record): This is the final, published version of the article available on the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences website. Authors are permitted to deposit the publisher's PDF version on their personal website or institutional repository, immediately upon publication. This version should always link back to the official published version on the journal's website using the DOI.

Conditions for Self-Archiving:

  • Authors must ensure that any self-archived version includes appropriate acknowledgment of the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences as the original publisher.

  • A link to the final published article on the journal's website (using the DOI) should be provided where technically feasible.

  • Self-archiving should be for non-commercial purposes only, in line with our Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This policy empowers authors to share their work widely while ensuring proper attribution and recognition of the formal publication in the Albahit Journal of Applied Sciences.
